Meet Me, Matt

Matt is a Higher Educational professional who’s passion is working with students pursuing a degree and furthering their academic journey. On the side, Matt is a runner, car-guy, pickle-baller, lover of music, reader, snowboarder, laugh-seeker, and finger-gun slinging good-time-haver. While his passion is for Education, his talent is Photography.

Matt grew up in a small town in southern New Hampshire and graduated from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, with a Bachelor’s in Communication and went on to obtain his Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

From a young age, Matt had always had a desire to be creative. As a self-taught photographer, his love for photography started in Highschool when he got his first iPhone, the iPhone 4. Throughout college, his interest in photography grew into more than just a hobby. You could find Matt working UNH events, or standing out in the freezing NH winter weather to get a long exposure of the Thompson Hall (T-hall) clocktower.

Matt’s love for the Cape began just a few short weeks after he was born when his parents brought him to the quaint little fishing village of Chatham to visit family. Since then, Matt has not missed a summer in Chatham. He won’t explicitly say he thinks he’s a townie, but if you watch closely you’ll think he believes he is.

Matt finds any excuse and reason to be on the Cape. If you see him around, say hi. He always enjoys meeting new people!
